The data center should have a disaster recovery plan, provided that it addresses an answer to the following questions:
What can be considered a disaster? Who is alerted of a disaster and how is it? Who performs the damage assessment and decides which reserve resources should be used? Where are the backup sites located and what is being done to maintain them and what is the timeline for that? How many times and under what conditions is the plan updated? If the organization does not own the data center, how long will the contracted data center be out of service until it comes back to work?
